At the age of 11, Richard and his family relocated from Mobile, Alabama to the Magic City: Birmingham, Alabama. This move proved to spark the creativity that was deep down within Richard. It was at this time Richard developed a strong interest in writing and producing music. Little did he know, his music would eventually be heard around the world.
As a true performer, Richard learned in middle school that he loves the stage and audience engagement. He won 1st place at his first talent show while in middle school. That first performance ignited a fire deep within and made Richard want to make music his career. As a kid, Richard did many shows and events around the country as a successful rap artist well known as King B.
In 2016 King B decided to take a break from music to pursue other entrepreneurial ventures. However, In October 2017 Richard fell in love with the Southern Soul sound. The result was the birth of Freaky B 2.0. Freaky B 2.0 went into the studio and recorded “How Do You Want It”, which ultimately resulted in the birth of his first
